The Definition of a "Hat":
"On a train, a locomotive engineer and a conductor each wear a different kind of hat given their job. You will notice that various jobs in society are designated by different hats worn quite often. From this, we get the term "hat“ as a slang term meaning one’s specialized duties or roles in a job or even in life. This is one’s hat."
A student also has a hat. One has certain duties that must be performed, and there are certain methods and techniques of study that the student must follow in order to learn about things successfully. This enables one to successfully apply what has been learned, and is what is taught on the Student Hat course.
Every hat has a product or end result. The product of properly wearing a student hat is the ability to skillfully use the tools of proper study and apply those tools to the materials one studies with certainty and accuracy both in Scientology courses and in life in general.
This course is a prerequisite to any professional Dianetic or Scientology Course.
